Chapter 01
The Untold Story
For nearly two thousand years, one mystery has held Christians, Muslims, historians and travellers in the same grip.
7 Sleepers is an upcoming feature film inspired by the legendary story of the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus, known across the Christian and Islamic world. Seven young men take shelter from persecution. They fall asleep. They wake three centuries later into a world that has forgotten them.
The film follows filmmaker and musician Nesi on an extraordinary search to discover what he believes is the true location of the cave. Not a retelling from books, but a road trip with a camera, a notebook and a question that refused to let him go.
What began as historical research slowly became something much deeper. Unexpected encounters, answered prayers and events he still struggles to explain reshaped his understanding of faith and purpose. He describes the change not as 180 degrees, but a full 360: a return to God with new hope and a new mission.

Rather than relying on historical books alone, Nesi travelled to every major location tied to the Seven Sleepers tradition: ancient caves, archaeological sites, monasteries and forgotten landmarks. Three of those stops shaped the film.

Chapter 04
Faith, History and Wonder
The Seven Sleepers belong to two traditions at once. Their story appears in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Kahf, and it has been kept alive in the Christian world for more than a millennium and a half. Same cave, same sleep, same waking. Two faiths telling one another the same thing.
The film combines breathtaking landscape, historical investigation, archaeology, spirituality and personal testimony. Historians recognise several traditional sites; this film does not pretend to close the argument. It shares the discoveries and experiences that convinced one man.
A story strong enough to survive seventeen centuries deserves to be followed on foot.
Chapter 05
Meet the Director
Nesi moved from Germany to Canada a year ago after working across a range of industries. Since arriving he has thrown himself into his creative work: filmmaking, trumpet, singing and dance.
During his travels he made the discovery that changed the direction of his life: what he believes is the true location of the Seven Sleepers cave. The experience gave him a renewed sense of purpose, and everything since has gone into bringing the ancient story to the screen.
